The Pioneer DJM-850 DJ Mixer follows Pioneer’s traditional mixer layout, featuring a variety of advanced sound effects that provide DJs with virtually limitless possibilities when mixing their music. The Pioneer DJM-850 DJ Mixer combines is primed and ready for you to plug and play with software on your PC/laptop, it boasts studio-quality FX for endless creative possibilities and an unrivalled DJing experience. The mixer’s Beat Colour FX uses side-chaining to add another layer of manipulation to the Sound Colour FX.
Key Features:
- An integrated, high-performance, 4-stereo-channel sound card and simultaneous input and output ensures there is no deterioration of sound quality. Plus 3 sampling rates enable music recording, production and DJing.
- USB Sound Card – A built-in USB sound card allows simultaneous input/output of stereo signals from 4 ins and 4 outs.Connect the unit to your laptop or computer via USB and the settings utility tool will automatically open, allowing you to configure the mixer, sound card and audio routing.
- Multi-layered FX – Trigger one of 13 enhanced Beat FX then hit the BEAT button to manipulate the lavel/dsepth parameters depending on how fast you twist the dial. Or take Sound Colour FX to a new level with Beat Colour FX which adds new parameters in time with the beat.
- Rekordbox DVS – when you use the rekordbox DJ software, you can get the rekordbox dvs plus pack to get low latency scratch control with music from your rekordbox library.
- Scratch It – Plug a laptop or CDJ directly into the mixer for DVS (digital vinyl system) control of supported software (doesn’t support serato scratch live).
Differences between the Pioneer DJM-850 and the DJM-750
- Individual low/hi pass effects per channel
- Fader start on all 4 channels (750 has fader start on 2 channels)
- Engage beat function – get auto bpm effect functionality for each of the sound colour FX
- Traktor interface built in (750 is not Traktor certified)
- Individual knobs to apply sound colour FX to 4 channels at the same time (750 – sound colour FX is part of the main FX bar)
- Can have 2 microphones (750 – only 1 microphone)
Both the DJM-750 and DJM-850 have 4 channels, built-in FX, EQ and gain trims, headphone section is the same.
